My cylinders only have 8 sides but it still doesn't like too many of them. The BSP stairs are even worse though. T3Ed crashed five times in a row when I tried to use them.

Luckily there are enough SM stairs around. I guess it's much better to use them instead of BSP ones which have the only advantage of being scaleable. This refers to other issues as well. I always wonder why some people don't use e.g. door frames as they are intended to. They make things incredibly easier.

I wanted a really steep, narrow staircase, that is why I tried using brushes.

With some help from CrackedGear, I have solved the problem.
I'm going to have to make those pillars in 3DS Max as static meshes since they were the main thing causing the crash.
Should be fun since I've never done any 3D drawing before:erg:

I wondered too until I recompiled I believed the map was corrupted but it wasn't at all, it seems that T3ed autosaves only brush info, lights positions, textures setup on every wall, and static meshes location, nothing related to AI navigation or flesh is autosaved if I recall right.

LOL :laff:
Then it was years that I'm convinced to talk with a woman?? Weird!!
But why you use a female name??
Now I understand well many things...

Because on the internet everyone is a 14 year old girl from California, and you're actually talking to a sweaty and older fat man, who wanks when talks to you watching your pics you send him/her/it.
