You can find Sudoku instant solve keys as loot in the ancient alien race dungeons and they're sold by merchants on the Citadel equivalent space station.

Awright, some years later and I finished this thing. My opinion's about the same: it's a decent time, overall. There's a lot about it that yokes you to the fetch and collect and craft grind, but you once you max out your powers and get decent enough weapons, you can kick that shit to the curb. It's a bit of a missed opportunity in that there's nothing new about the story it tells and the choices you make, and I found the characters melted into a pool of inoffensive sludge by the end of all that zooming around a galaxy and trading random banter. There's not a one I found that really anchored the experience, unlike say ME2's Mordin or ME1's Wrex dilemma. If I wanted to be fair, I'd say they're about as interesting, on average, as Vega from ME3 or Token Black Dude/Rebel Eugenics Girl from ME2.
The story is bolted onto the ME trilogy's lore and doesn't do much with it except give you villains (who, true to Gnarly Villain Design, are gruff and have knobbly edges and are, yes, gnarled), macguffins to chase, an AI story that tries to be quietly subversive when contrasted with ME1-3's themes and then ends up saying absolutely nothing, looks like it has something to say about colonialism but then completley buries the lede, then wraps up with an epic fight that's also a bit anticlimactic. What it did do well was evoke a sense of camaraderie throughout because of the various crew member interactions, e-mails, and banter; the movie night quest was a lovely way to soak in that feeling.
Also, it looks pretty, and the combat's quite fun. I guess I mentioned that.
Anyway, I've uninstalled it, so here's the last of the screenies. Sorry about the spoilers, but we're more than a year out by now anyway.

Anthem turning out as bad as it did made people appreciate this game more.
I don't have much hope for Dragon Age 4: Dread Wolf Rises. If it ever see the light of day that is.

Well after 75 hours of gameplay I finally wrapped this up. It's actually my favorite out of the series, really enjoyed it, kinda bummed out that they didnt end up making the dlc that was apparently planned. The sense of exploration and travelling around the galaxy with a prize crew was really well done, the visuals were great, and combat much better the the previous 3 entries.
