I did try playing FemShep but it just felt wrong because I couldn't empathise with her. I suppose it's kind of like fancy dress - I can put up with it for a few hours and then it just becomes annoying. The voice in particular I couldn't get used to either. And there was no way I was going to go after one of the male crew members.
I like to chase the womens and that's that.

Just didn't have fun playing FemShep, certainly wouldn't stick it out just to see if FemShep and Liara had that special something.

For me, I'll always exclusively play a blonde FemShep for the sole reason that to me she's the alt-universe version of Samus.
(but also because DudeShep's voice actor gave one of the most wooden performances I've heard since Resident Evil for the motherfucking Playstation in god damn 1996)

Not sure what the playstation has to do with it. Voice acting is one of the things that does not get better with newer technology.
