If you want a martial art that you can learn most of in a week, go for muay thai. it's really basic, the power comes from technique and a strong body.
Also, remember that every move can have an application.
The best person I know at fighting literally mostly learned from the tekken games. He would go play them with others, and then try different styles. This worked mainly because of the sparring.
For something that's really applicable, american kenpo is good.

I'm fairly sure you have no idea what you're talking about.
To put it simply, there's no martial art you can "learn in a week" unless you're including swinging haymakers at a punching bag

Or Kung Fu Hustle!
All he has to do is unclog the chi flow in his body and he can use the ULTIMATE BUDDHA PALM!

Sorry, when I say learn, I mean like learn all the moves. Muay thai is simple really. However, it takes a long time to perfect the technique and develop a strong body.
And I'm not kidding about the tekken guy. Of course, his skill is more from tons of sparring, and he only does like 2 moves from tekken (excluding basics). But that's where he started.

As a comedy option I suggest Lhet films himself performing an axe kick - muay thai's easy, right?
