Oh right, I forgot to mention my brother is a stable-trained red singlet muay-thai kick boxer.
I can't believe you're still in here, let alone not backing down

Lhet forgets that seeing something being done and knowing how it is supposed to be done is not the same thing as being skilled or even competent at doing it itt
PigLick on 3/3/2006 at 11:33
haha yeh that would kinda be like watching porn and then thinking you know how to please the ladies!
ignatios on 3/3/2006 at 11:57

Lhet on 3/3/2006 at 16:55
I never said I was skilled or competant dammit. I never claimed to be a superpro at anything. I just said that muay thai is simple.

I'll bet that took a shitload of Tekken!

What the fuck.
You asses.
theBlackman on 3/3/2006 at 18:28
No Martial art is "simple". There may only be a few basic moves, but the correct form, application of the technique, power and control are where the skill is.
What you "see" is only a shadow of the move.
You might reevaluate your terms *simple-etc.* and state your (at this point, laughable) position in more accurate phrasing.

God damn, there's some major nit-picking in this thread... the above is
obviously what Lhet means. Give the guy a break ffs. He never said you could master it in a week, just that you could learn the moves.
