Mapping out The City. - by Digital Nightfall

Seems we're having another pause currently. No worries, we'll see this to it's conclusion soon.
I take str8g8 is still working on his FM, am I correct? Well, we might try some basic lines before we can see his workings arrive. I'll see if I can make one quikcie after a few days then.

Yeah the Bridge is in beta at the moment (check out the latest screenshots (
http://www.str8g8.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/) here) but I'm likely tied up with it for a while yet, together with The cabal (the new T3 editors mini-campaign). So I just haven't found the time to do any mapping. :(
If someone else can take the reins for a while that would be cool. Really just a matter of consolodating what we have been discussing in visual form ...

Whoa, nelly, Str8g8. Your Bridge is looking mighty fine. I especially like shot 4 - nice use of background.

Well it would seem then that the Eastport/Dayport issue has been resolved. I'd say we can proceed on that front, unless someone wishes to defend Dayport/Eastport... you know, speak now or forever hold your peace, that sort of thing...
Going back to OQ, my apologies for the confusion. Sxerks, Mugla, care to present your case for the split? Sorry to put the burden of proof on you, but with 46 pages to sort through the alternative is rather daunting.
P.S. And let me just join the chorus of praise for your work, str8g8. Just don't think you're getting out of this that easily. You've been granted a reprieve, not a release. ;)

Up on the page.

For and against
1st bridge
- Cradle located on cutscene
- Artifact map
2nd bridge
- Fort Ironwood logo on City Map
- Implied proximity between Keeper Compound and Libraries.
Plus I'd like to note that there's the sign "Cradle" within OQ, which goes against the split directly.
Other than that, as I said I'd go for 1st bridge without split, but decided to compromise with str8g8 here, as it's somewhat in the 'interpretional' field of evidence. You may disregard my votes here, as I'll be happy with any form now.

The way I see it, is that the only good thing about T3 OQ @ 2nd bridge would be the fort ironwood "logo" on the T3 map (the size of Keeper Compound is huge), and I would like to point out for the 2nd time that all the logos are placed so that it is tied with the location text ("Stonemarket", "Old quarter", "Auldale"). So it might not be showing the actual location.
My humble opinion is that no split, and T3 OQ @ 1st bridge. But I'm OK with split, too.
Can't wait to get to play your FM str8g8 :)

I noticed that too, and noted it around 2 times too. :p
And I share your sentiments on the fanmission. Hope I can get the programs work by then.
I was going to make one version of the map by now, but we're having repairs on the house, so things have postponed.

Hello, taffers and tafferitas!
Here is my City map
(
http://darkfate.ru/index.cgi?show=files/images/fanworks/v-raptor/city_by_%20vraptor_eng)
Don’t watch this map using E-Explorer, save it on your HD and take a look through Windows image viewer.
I would like to know your valuable opinion regarding it without taking into consideration:
The Salt Lake
The Fortifications
The names of the mountains
Mountainside Villages
These are all my own additions. I’m planning to use them in my own thief related project.
Working on this map I was considering the materials available at the T-Trilogy itself and at the City Map Project. As you can see, there is Sunny Port from T2X as well.

V-Raptor - Incorrect. A number of districts are misplaced, at least according to T1 maps.
