I recently discovered the existence of the mouselook mod for System Shock, which got me to playing this wonderful game again. Now, I have a question regarding the Mapping & Navigation implant at v2 and v3 levels. It's supposed to display surrounding enemies on the minimap (robots at v2, both robots and organics at v3). However, this only seems to work on some levels. At least on levels 3 and 6 and in the groves it works fine. However, for example on level 7 it doesn't display any enemies on the minimap. Is this supposed to happen or do I have a glitched copy of the game or something?

Have you tried maximising the map, then disabling/enabling the enemy detection? It usually works for me. Sometimes it seems that the enemy detection stops working when you move from one level to the next, and doing this corrects it.

Good to know. I noticed the same thing on my last playthrough. The autobot maze on the bridge is where I needed it the most too. :cheeky:

Why? What is wrong with the usual "apply a few dozens of med patches and just walk ignoring all the autobombs" strategy? :p
edit: Btw, does the autobomb section have a hard cap on respawns (Like hoppers in R: they stop respawning when one kills about 50 of them)?

Initially there are 19 autobombs in that level. If the population gets below 16, then 2 to 4 new ones will respawn if you're playing on combat difficulty level 1 or 2, and 3 to 6 will respawn if you're playing on combat difficulty level 3. There is no hard cap.
In Level R, the cap is 24 for combat difficulty level 1 and 2, and 48 for level 3.
