Dear fellow thieves,
I seek your help on a simple question, yet hard to answer, since you'd have to be a veteran thief who got past countless FM adventures I guess. For me I am not an expert when it comes to FMs.
To make it short: I search for Thief 2 FMs that take place in a mansion or a house like mission if possible. What is a must: the guards should have mostly randomized patrols / paths in this mission. If you recently played a FM that would fit these features, please give me its name, since I am eager to play this.
Why am I asking? I am not searching for a specific mission - just for FMs that fit these concerns. I love the original Thief gameplay, however, what bothers me in most missions is, that the guards mostly follow a linear path with two or three stop points and then return. I understand that gameplaywise this makes sense, so the player can figure where and when to sneak past. However what I am looking for is a mission in which room you can never feel safe, since the patrol routes are random. IIRC random patrol points are possible in at least Thief 2. I would love to play a mission in which guards are able to enter most rooms at any time randomly, so you can never feel safe. It doesn't have to be a mansion / house mission - I just like this setting the most.
So if you could help me - I would feel flattered. Thank you in advance! Feel free to ask further question if I did not make myself clear. :)

Not exactly a mansion and not quite random, but My Favorite Year from the T2 20th Anniversary contest has some really complex patrol routes on Expert that make the mission really tense.

Even the original mission from t1 "murderer" has a little variation with junction patrol points. I used the same procedure in my FM "The Mirror of Return". Servants have random patrol paths. Just a idea.

It's a very small FM and not a mansion, but the 4 guards in my FM Off The Record do patrol randomly, and also will put lights back on if you turn them off.

Thank you for your contributions so far. I will check them out. :) please everyone, feel free to continue writing suggestions with heavy random patrol missions.

Almost related, I remember once seeing a post by Xarax who wanted to include a room with loads of carpet tiles (in either Heart & Soul or The Varyx Obelisk), in which players needed to jump from carpet to carpet with some carpet tiles causing instant death whilst others were safe, but to add to the fun he wanted to randomise the carpets so players couldn't learn the safe pathway.
Pity he never did it as could have been good fun.

Were you referring to Assassins?

Of course. I have forgotten the correct word.
