I'll let this trailer speak for itself. Except that I'll add...W T F ?

At least EM is getting thoroughly reamed out in the comments and likes departments.

Call me back when the Director's Cut drops.
Ah, who do I think I'm kidding, I know I can't wait. :(
Starker on 2/9/2015 at 00:05
This is the kind of bullshit that makes me wait for a sale or in some cases ignore completely (hello, Mass Effect 3).

Wow...this is even worse than the NuThief pre-order promo, where they offered you some starting gold and a carved-out piece of the game.

Well, they say that you get to choose your rewards, but what it actually means is that you get to select only one reward in each tier. If you want to get all of them, you need to buy the collector's edition at 150$. Welcome to the cyberpunk future where you get to enjoy being a bitch of the corporations as they fleece you for digital data and present it as doing a favour for you.

If that mission is anything like the DXHR preorder mission, we're not missing much by not preordering. And that other stuff I don't care about.

I've still yet to complete Human Revolution. I think I'll wait for a GOTY edition.
Manwe on 2/9/2015 at 16:46
EvaUnit's wet dream in a nutshell. The worst part about these pre-order bonuses is when they end up bundled in the GOTY version with the rest of the DLC and completely screw the balance of the game, making you start with overpowered equipment or too many resources. Why people pay extra to ruin the experience for themselves is beyond me.

If this game turns out to be as good as HR (or at least close), then I would be willing to spend $150 for the Collector's Edition, just to have the extra mission and skins, and maybe the in-game music. I don't really care about the other stuff.
But this pre-order offer is so insulting, I hope everyone boycotts it. They can have my $60 at release time instead.

I agree, it is
insulting...Unfortunately, Squenix considers the fanbase as merely simpletons with open wallets, as they try to squeeze every nickel they can out of you.
...and Paul Tassi, at Forbes, certainly agrees...(

I understand that the idea behind it is to mirror perhaps the “skill trees” of games like this where you make different branching choices as you level up, but this is combining the worst of all possible worlds when it comes to pre-order options. Packing in performance enhancing loadouts is annoying, bundling an extra mission is annoying, an unlockable “tell your friends” tiered system is annoying, and then you’re going to add in this choice factor in as well where players don’t even get everything in each tier unless they’re willing to shell out $150 for the Collector’s Edition? Insanity.
