So I was on my way back from Vas and I stopped by the Ghost Gate and bought an Indoril Helmet...I would like to point out that I bought the helmet, legally. Later when I was in Vivec, the Ordinators(who wear the Indoril armor as part of there religious ferver) attacked me. They said something to the effect of "Where did you get that armor, its sacred. YOU CANNOT ESCAPE THE RIGHTGEOUS!!". I killed the three that attacked me(which is no easy task). AND Because they attacked me first I recieved no criminal record for this. Great so now I have a ton of indoril armor and no bounty, I thought. But now whether I wear the armor or not the ordinators all over Morrowind always attack me. Which is a bit difficult to deal with because they are all over the place and I don't want to, nor do I have the time to kill them all. My last previously saved game is quite a ways back...is there anyway for me to make peace? if anyone has any info on this thanks
.:tsktsk: :eww: :D    :weird: :wot: :nono: <----these thing are so funny

lol I have the same problem, but I didn't kill the ordinators. What worked for me is when ever I got into town I would just take off the pieces of armor that i had on that the ordinators wear. I don't think they look in your inventory!

Yeah I tried that....but since I killed them I think I'm kinda screwed...I just wanted to make sure before I give up...They attack me now even if I'm butt-neked with a completely empty inventory...which isn't very nice:p

I don't know how old this post is but, if you're a member of the Temple, just go there and they will forgive you for your crime "this time". Also, I wear Indoril , but no helmet or shield and the guards let me be.

Just for a laugh last night I saved my game and then decided to see how hard these ordinators really are - the last time I attacked one was at level 3! Anyway being level 14 and the proud owner of chrysamere the poor wretch didn't last more than two strikes before falling face down.
Looking at his shiny armour I wondered what it would look like on me so i tried it on and well I think Indoril looks amazing especially when you're holding a double-handed weapon.
I specialise in light armour of course so it isn't practical to wear it but i was impressed none the less.
I quick question though - what does Indorill armour suppose to be Heavy or Medium it comes up as Heavy for me and the ordinator captain in vivec describes it as heavy armour when he offers you some for killing the murderer?

I went into the baracks and have stolen a ton of this armour, I wear all of it all the time as I am only level 6 and none of them have attacked me or accused me of anything. Maybe it is just getting it from that vendor that triggers it

Before the first patch both Indoril and Dreugh would sometimes change from Medium to Heavy and vice versa when you loaded a game, the patches fixes both to be Medium all the time but that dialogue just hasn't been updated.
