Okay, well thanks for all the hard work you've done on both games. You've really made replaying the games much more interesting and fun. Thanks for all the files and thanks for the thorough and extensive help and explanations on how to use them (not all of us are able to do what you do). I'll have all your hard work on backup CD-Rs to enjoy for years to come. :thumb:

This looks awesome - I look forward to replaying on my new machine that should be able to run IW without chugging:)

Just so you know - I installed all 3 texture packs, launched the game, and had it crash at the opening menu. After installing 2 of the 3 packs (the community one and yours) the menu works fine - I'll try reinstalling bits and pieces and will attempt to isolate which texture is causing problems.
Edit: installed the community pack again, menu runs fine, so it's not that...must be something in the cumulative one.
Edit 2: And now I re-installed the cumulative pack with all the same settings as before...and the menu loads fine. Very weird - dunno why installing them, then uninstalling, then installing again in the same order I originally installed them would make a difference. Here's hoping it stays working.

-Just know that this game is very weird when it comes to bugs. Even though it works fine one day, that doesn't mean it'll work fine the next...
In other words, this game does a fine job of mucking things up itself, without my help. ;)
Seriously though, if my pack(s) contain bugs, at least this serious, I will of course try to fix them. But I'm pretty sure they're 'stable' by now.
Some people experience font problems when using the Community pack with the European versions of the game though. This can be solved by starting ibd_patcher.exe, which there is a shortcut to in Start \ All Programs \ Eidos \ Deus Ex - Invisible War \ Community texturepack\, and unchecking the entries that has to do with fonts (I think perhaps there is a 'font' Preset in the dropdown menu as well, to make this easier).
Then perhaps you will also need to restore the original DX2UI.ini file in the System folder of the game. The original should be there, but has been renamed.

Brilliant work john... If I worked for Ion I would be feeling slightly embarrased
