I'm trying to get named Nerevarine for this tribe. I've been to the UESP site and have a walkthrough. . . I know I shouldn't cheat but I'm stuck so I'm following the walkthrough. . . I went to the Wise women and she says to see Ashkhan Kaushad. So I go to see him (his disposition is at 100) and the quest stops there. He's to test me and send me off to kill a vampire, but he just gives me a riddle? What gives? Is this a bug?
Here is what Kaushad says when I ask him about Nerevarine Prophecies:
Yes, we know of the prophecies, we know there are many prophecies, all of them mysterious and obscure, Our Wise Women, Sonummu Zabanat, has told her chief all about these prophecies and given her interpretations. 'A certain day to uncertain parents.' 'The curse of Flesh before him flies.' In caverns dark Azura's eye see's, and makes to shine the moon and star.' Standard prophets talk, Voices and verses. Very interesting. But . . true? Who can tell.

Are you still carrying the Moon and Star ring? That is what proves you've passed the Third Trial. If you've dropped it (or taken it off?) you won't be recognised as a potential Nerevarine.

The riddle directs you to the location, talk to the wise women and some other ashlanders and they will help you solve the riddle.

*shake* That's the Urshilaku camp that gives the riddle. The Zainab camp, IIRC, is the one in the heart of the grasslands. There's a bug w/ the unpatched vrsion of Morrowind, such that you have to talk to the Zainab last; talking to them before geting the other 3 may break you, I'm not certain. If you've gotten the other 3 though, it may just be that he doesn't like you enough; he's got to like you pretty well before he'll even discuss the topic with you.

I've talked to everyone in the camp and I got no help. But I wasn't quite done with the other 3 tribes. . . I thought I was but I was wrong. I went back to the 3 other tribes and finished up and then went back to Zainab Camp. He is still talking in riddles. I killed the vampire and still he talks in riddles. He does like me 100 percent. Can I go and meet Vivec and complete the main quest? It seems to me I read this some where. Oh well, I try and see.

Yup, he does, EvolGrinZ... but if he never says so, and thus never initiates that quest, the bride will never be enabled.
