Don´t want to spoil anything, but is the main quest finished after golden dragon appeared ?
OK. There still is a quest open to get a very special armour in 2 weeks
Seems i should have been more careful about the little problems of the inhabitants :ebil:

Oblivion is shorter than morrowind, but it's a lot more richer in my mind. Especially the guild quests.

Main quest? What main quest? ;) I am having MUCH more fun just doing my own thing. I'll get to it.

I have barely begun the main quest, and I have had a good decent 50 hours worth of gameplay so far!
I'm in a shitload of factions, Order of the Virtous Blood, Dark Brotherhood, Mages Guild, Fighters Guild, Blades, Arena & Knights of the White Stallion.. Each offers a range of quests that'll keep you entertained for hours. And I'm sure there are many other factions out there to join!

Thanks a lot for your replies. This question was not meant to blame the game. I just focussed on the main quest and i visited no too many places. Also, i remember reading from 16 gates to oblivion, while i had to deal with only four of them.
I´m sure, there is a huge amount of quests and playtime left, i just visited maybe 20% of the map.
I like Oblivion much more than Morrowind, it´s a big progress in making the player believe to act in a living world.
Loading times are annoying, though.

If the additional stuff is anything like Morrowind, I'll never see the main quest. I've killed Vivec in Morrowind without delivering that little scroll to whoever it goes to. I plan to do the same here.
