I feel a bit stupid about asking this but oh well anchors away,
I'm on day 14 in the game joined hlaalu (1 quest),the fighters guild (3rd quest), and the blades(1st quest done).
Now everyone here has been talking about the "main quest", and I just wanted to know exactly what I was missing. How do I start it up? Is it from the blades?
And completely unrelated, has anyone else noticed you get a choice about your "duties" in the beginning? Has anyone taken the no package route?

The main quest is the one you get from Caius (blades) and anything pertaining to that.
You get a choice of no package? Really, I haven't actually read that opening info for awhile but I will have to check it out.

Hmm yeah, I seem to remember the package just got added to your inventory automatically when you speak to Sellus Gravius about your duties.........but even if you could refuse it, that would lock you out of the main quest immediately. Unless, as Xenomorph said, you're using an "alternate start" mod or something.....

Oh sorry about that second part then. I just thought that if you didn't ask about "duties" oops, no package for you.
And thanks hidden, that might make me want to do those a bit more often.

Actually, It's pretty funny. I'm running this mod that better balances the races, and as part of the balancing it gives the Kajiits a jump power, to be used once a day. This has the unexpected side effect of allowing you to jump over that wall in the training area and totally skip getting the package.
