Main quest stuck 4th/5th completed but.. - by NZ_Darkness

I've been named hortator by all 3 houses, and nereverine by all four tribes, yet my journal does not attest to this, and when I go to the temple to talk to the lady at the top about having a meeting with the archcanon she shh's me away and says im not talking to you till you finish the quests. Any clues how to get around this?
This is my second time through so dont panic if you need to throw in a spoiler.

Make sure that you have been given an item by all four tribes and three houses. In at least one instance it's not the askhan of the tribe that gives you the item, after speaking to him you have to go back to the wise woman and ask several questions before she will give you the item. You should have seven bits of kit.
