Magic without glowing

Is there any way to use the CS to make magic items that don't glow/go all shiny? Because I think that effect can ruin otherwise cool looking clothing and armour, and I'd like to get rid of it.

There is a mod called "No glow" and I know that (www.bornfromtheashes.com) but their downloads don't seem to be working so try searching (www.gamersroam.com)
