Have you gone into the well? Have you checked the corpse?
Do you have a large amount of spare carrying capacity?

The corpse is floating near the top of the well ceiling, in the 'room' furthest from the entrance.
If it's not there, try reloading from immediately before you activated the quest and re-doing it.

the ring weighs 150 so don't carry a bunch of crap down to the well

i still cant find anything in the well, and i activated that quest quite long time ago and cause i dint found anything i started to make new quests. So i cant reload its activate... :(

when you go down the well there should be a hole in the wall go through there and turn right there should be a body search it and take the ring

Have you installed the patch? It fixes a bug which makes that corpse disappear.
