Ok, this is frustrating as hell, but the second mages guild quest from balmora, i didnt get to the desk intime because i thought that i had to find a fake soul gem and didnt realize that the one NPC gave me one already. Well, i set one there behind her back but the computer wont recognize that i did the quest.
Quite frankly, it just annoys the hell out of me that i cant get any other quests from the Balmora mages guild because of it. Is there a way that i can get the computer to recognize that i did it?:thumb:

Shut down, restart, talk to Ajira again & pray for rain.
Or revert to an earlier saved game & re-do it right this time!
I'm too stoopid to know how to cheat but maybe some of the editor wizards can tell you how to fix things that way.

You have to place the fake gem inside the desk.

i bolted upstairs and put it with her other gems and thought damnit.. didn't work..
i think i read the journal which sometimes has info the actual conversation doesn't..
and it said put it inside... as soon as i did that.. prob solved.. quest completed...
