As of today I have to pay 28 gold to be transported by a magician, instead of 9! The girls still like me lots ("I have a feeling we are about to get reeeally close" LoL! "I should slap you!") and my personality/speechcraft are still the same.
Can anyone explain this?

Odd...What's your status in the guild?
BattleMage on 23/5/2002 at 15:20
Err, warlock or something. Why?

Just wondering if maybe you had been inadvertantly expelled, and it for some reason caused transport costs to rise...just taking wild guesses at this point, to be honest.

I think after you become the Kwizatch Haderach your faction with civilized folk goes way down until you defeat Dagoth Ur...

Tuco, isn't that Dune? I vaguely remember a name like that from when I read it a few years ago.

Once you embark upon the main storyline and do the Urshilaku Burial Ground quest (and Sul-Matuul recognizes you) you become part of the Ashlander Guild, so to speak. Once this happens everyone dislikes you a lot more. Just build your personality and everything should get back to normal. If that isn't the case, I don't know what is :)
BattleMage on 24/5/2002 at 09:41
Yes that's dune, but it's not the case with my character. The price has dropped to 21 gold now though. It doesn't really matter anyway, I can afford it. ;)

Yeah, Dune...
Morrowind Storyline for the Nereverine:
"Become some awesomely superhuman guy, unite the nomad tribes who've been pushed around, go and push the imperials out of Morrowind."
Not what you do in the game... but still is what those dirty ashlanders wanted you to do(Killed them all)...
"The sleeper, has awoken!"

Strange but this just happened to me. The only things I have noticed that could cause it are that my reputation just went up 1 point, or the fact that I am working on a quest where someone is traveling with me. Maybe the game accounts for that and doubles the price while you're working on that quest.. dunno but I'll find out once the quest is over, otherwise it might be that transportation cost is tied directly to reputation..
