well i avoided the dreaded over explore for like 6 weeks real time...
now i got two big cases in two days...

while i was waiting for an answer to the first one ('Imp cult quest' thread down the
page) i offhandedly and as an after thought joined the mage guild for something
to do.

seems my mages guild quests all been messed up... i didn't do 10 of the quests... =/
still became arch-mage though...

what seems to have happened is....
at some stage i went into some house on the ouside of he wall of ald'ruhn
(huleen's hut)... some scamp attacked me... so i socked it to him...

now when i joined the mages guild and finished all the quests by that khajit then all
the ones by ranis.. i went to see edwinna in ald'ruhn... since i killed that scamp she
thought i finished her forth quest.... so she never got me to do the first 3... no big deal
don't seem like hard quests anyway... BUT because i never done her 2nd quest...
skin-in-tree the head of sadith mora guild won't give me his quests... so i miss out
on his 5 quests + the 3 edwinna never gimme...

i never finished trebonious quest on why the dwemer vanished. because when i went
to talk to him... he challenged me to a duel to the death for the archmage position...

so there i skipped his two quests (the last one is to kill all the telvanni heads of
council) so that's 10 quests i missed out on...

so i guess i went the second way.. cos u finish all the edwinna quests and talk to her
bout trebonious then to him bout advancement that's what happens u gotta fight him..
the other way is to do all the quests get to master wizard level and then he gets
fired...
