People in ANTIQUITY rarely wore any clothing, perhaps a loincloth or at most a loose toga.
This way, it was easier to perform acts of dramatic homosexuality.

Men complaining about gratituous amounts of bare skin in a movie? What year is this?

Yeah it looks good, we'll see what the results are. A historical telling could of been just as interesting but this just goes a different path, I don't think we should compare.

I argee with maly, aside from hundreds of bare chested men the trailer was absolute badassness. I just didnt exactly understand why they all had to be shirtless, maybe thats integral to the plot of the graphic novel.
Don't worry.
300 will be the movie that takes full-body waxing into the mainstream for men!

I watched the trailer for 300 and thought... Leni Riefenstahl is making films from beyond the grave?

Need some clarification here. I´m at odds with a colleague at work. Is the Spartan king´s (?) line:
Spartans! Tonight we are dying in hell!
or is it
Tonight we are dining in hell?
Whatever it is, the trailer looks promising. Shouting, naked muscle-bound oiled bodies and slow motion are a well tried mix.

It's "Spartans! Tonight, we dine in hell!"
trust me I watch this thing at lest once an hour
