Ok for some reason everyone inside Moonmoth (spelling?) attacked me after I batered with this one guy (everyone attacked me but him) I killed everyone. I went outside and the outside guard went at me and i killed them I went back to balmora and got the price off my head. But everytime I see any guards like the ones at moonmoth they attack me for no reason. Once I kill them I have no bounty
I kinda let the guards from moonmoth follow me to balmora then killed them after I removed the price cause they where still attacking me.
help

:laff:
sorry but it is so funny...
are you sure those knights (or whatever) followed you from Moonmoth to Balmora?:laff:
i think there won't be any of them left in a short while:)
anyway... it's natural that the ones who saw u doing whatever unlawful behavior you were performing in the "FORT" still attacking u on sight although u've got rid of the price on your head. just kill them, u wont get extra bounty if u kill the ones attackng you for no reason. but whatever you've done at the fort, they would follow u even if u've stolen a bread or killed someone. but if something like that happens again the best way is to use invisibility, a high chameleon, or divine/almsivi intervention to disappear. if u just run, they would follow u to Gnisis. but i haven't got a problem with the baby faced guards of the forts yet so i'm telling these from my experiences with the city guards and ordinators(:grr: SSSSSITIZENNN!!!).
don't kill them all...who will hold the torches otherwise?:thumb:

If they started attacking you right after you sold something to someone in there it might be cause you sold them something you had stolen from them. You don't even have to be caught for that to count cause they recognize there own marchandise.

...or even something that's vaguely similar to the object you stole. Let's say that you steal a Steel Claymore from the Razor Hole in Balmora on your first, maybe second day to get that couple extra gold to level up. You plunder some n00b dungeon in your 50th level and someone is carrying a Steel Claymore.
You happen to come across this weapon in your inventory while walking through Balmora and exterminating some Hlaalu scum (If they weren't meant to be killed, why would Bethesda make them so scumlike?) and decide to sell it to the Razor Hole for some whiskey money. The clerk attacks you and you get a bounty. That's why you never steal from a storeowner unless you plan on tiptoeing around the guy or killing him.
Here's a hint: Enchant a piece of clothing or armor, perhaps a weapon with poison damage on self. If the object you enchanted is better than what the trader originally had equipped, the shopkeep will equip the item without a second thought once you sell it to him.

Like when you steal a diamond from Naclarya (sp) for the thief guild and then you can't sell her any diamond. I ones got attacked by her when trying to sell a diamond and I wasn't even in the thiefs guild

Oooh... nice tip Exile. I'm going to do that to some non-important NPC... just for the fun of it. It's not like I'm committing murder, heh. He's just killing himself :cheeky:

many shopkeepers wear that yellow-pink extravagant robe in Balmora and Ald'ruhn now:) they just got in it as soon as i sold it to them...
i hate that robe and i just roll on the floor laffing, each time i see them in that outfit:laff:
(it's the one that Galbedir in Balmora Mages guild and Mistress Therana wear. it must be a trend among idiots)

yes, but actaully, that robe (if u see it is magical) could be the robe of drakes pride (fortify int. 10 reflect 25 resist fire 25) I use this........ but i do agree it looks pretty odd. (especially with full glass armor):cheeky:
Kafein on 7/6/2003 at 14:30
no i meant the non-magickal one... i wouldn't sell "robe of drakes pride" to them... would u?:)
and believe me, I USE THAT ROBE TOO!!!! AND IT IS PAINFUL REALLY!!!:( :( :(
AND WORSE, MY CHARACTER IS MALE... ah...at least it hides his skirt that is enchanted with fortify strength, and that looks even worse than that robe... anyway i just play on 1st person mode, and avoid mirrors...
i laffed too much when i saw the robe that gothren desires that much... but i was just having a heart attack, when i've realised i have to use it, as it is too powerful to just let it pass to gothren:(
there are tens of robes in morrowind, but i have to use that one... i can't believe it:(((
my character looks like barbie dolls:grr:

Regarding my post from earlier: ... I wish I hadn't killed all those people by selling them the enchanted shield... :( Now I can only hire two people as a guard for my house... But I gots me an enchanter (from mages guild), an armorer (from fighters guild), some woman (My wife? lol, from Ebonheart) and two guards. I need some more guards... Just use command humanoid to get people to follow you back to your house ;)
I use that.. Robe of St. Rothis? Something like that. It has feather 50pts, Detect Animal 50ft and some other enchantment. But since I'm concerned about style I only ever wear it when I need it. I rely on my instincts rather than magic to find monsters to kill. ^.^
