Cool, so that's what Motorolas are good for. Someone conned me into buying a v360 a few years ago - they told me it was a phone.

COVINGTON, La. - A man say's his cell phone saved his life. A stray .45-caliber bullet hit R.J. Richards chest while he was mowing the lawn — hitting so hard he thought it was a stone kicked out by his tractor. He pulled out the phone. It fell apart. The 68-year-old man was bruised. He said doctor's told him two thing's prevented worse injury, maybe even death: the phone, and the fact that the bullet came in at an angle rather than head-on.

Makes you think, if you fire a bullet anywhere in a populated area you risk peoples lives unless you are being very safe. Also reminds me of the mythbusters episode. Never fire a gun into the air at an angle :(

I've heard of at least two occasions where a thick wad of moolah did the same

I prefer rubber, as whatever they shoot bounces off me and, uh, fucks them up.

I have a Rizr Z3, and it's pretty awesome, particularly for a cheap phone (free with rebate!). Not only is the call quality really good, and all features are sound (yay for phones that allow you to add custom ringtones instead of buying them!), it's made out of titanium. I've dropped it about 90 times now with no noticeable damage.

You'd think so, but not in this forum.
