That should run Oblivion. My friend had pretty similiar computer, except Athlon 64 3200+, only 512 MB ram and Radeon 9600 XT. Ran fine with medium-low, 800x600.

I am running it perfectly on a p4 1.5 512ram and a gf 3 ti 200 with 64ram. Settings are in the low range but it runs beautifully indoors and out. Anyone know why?

with a gf3ti200 64mb it runs fine ? Strange. even morrowind didnt play that well with that card, still have it here sitting on a shelf fan is dying so I wont give it away even. my cheapie radeon 9600pro 128mb(Super price $28.00 Dont ask :P )
runs everything much much smoother. Makes morrowind fun to play instead of all the jerky loading it did with the gf3.

I think Sting is telling porky-pies. You don't meet any of the minimum specs, I don't think. Then again, you could have a miracle computer?

old oblivion project reallykicks butt. I can at least get the tutorial dungeon running on my AMD 1800XP 1 gig ram, 256Mb Raedon 9550 !! and it doesn't look a complete mess either. I am just... wow!
The machine I was initally running it on was a 3.2GHz 64bit, 2gig ram, 128Mb 6600GT and even it suffered some slow down in open areas, and I just blown away at how the game runs on my old machine! (so far)

I'm considering getting Oblivion but I can't find any official min specs for some reason. Here's my system:
AMD Athlon 3Ghz processor
1Gb RAM
RADEON 9800 card
Will it run ok on this? Hope so, the game looks awesome... :cheeky:

Well, I used to have an Athlon XP3000+, 1Gb of RAM and a GeForce FX5900. It ran reasonably well at 800X600 with only occasional slowdown. Your machine should be OK.
