What is that supposed to mean? Don't you ever just say what is on your mind without being so conscious as to how the others will respond to it? I personally think that is the only way you can ever learn from communicating with other people. Of course Vernon. I believe i know the man u are speaking about. He emigrated. I think he is lurking somewhere in London these days. He likes to hang out at the bridge... I am sorry if i'm being vague. He left Portugal a couple of years ago.

I don't understand the widespread use of ellipses, one of you freakniks explain this to me. I see it happen all the time, not just on forums but in IM and e-mails. It tends to be people new to the medium.
1) What the hell are people trying to convey with them and
2) What is it about this particular conveyance that seems to occur independently to so many people. There must be some natural conclusion people reach about their use but I'll be damned if I can figure out what it is.
