Another promising episode imo. Though I still don't trust Juliette (lying little slut), it was kinda scary when she said that even the Others didn't know what the hell the smoke monster is; only that it didn't like their barrier.
And, an episode wherein Locke really starts to piss me off and shows just what a seriously selfish, self-serving bastard he really is. He had that rather unnerving look of one who is insanely obsessed (great acting, btw). And where the hell did the Others take off to with all the guns? I missed some of the previews so only know that Jack comes back to the Survivors' camp and figure there's going to be renewed tension between him and Sawyer. It's about time Kate got put in her place: the look on her face when she realized that Jack and Jules have a 'thing' developing between them was great. Serves her right for all the waffling she's done between Jack & Sawyer.
Speaking of: I got a kick out of Hurley's manipulation of Sawyer; will we now begin to see a new and improved James? I also found the connection between Sawyer's last conquest and Kate very interesting - love the whole Pulp Fiction type of connections the authors are making here. So James is a daddy, huh (or will be soon)? Can't wait til Kate does the math and all is revealed on that front. Face it; Sawyer's precious when he squirms.
Don't know how many more episodes are left in this season, but I figure things are really going to start winding up for the finale soon. Wednesday nights just became a little more interesting again.

I thought the whole Locke scene was just weird. He seemed to be a different person, although that obviously had something to do with him finding out his asshole dad is on the island. The way he treated Kate like garbage though, that was just strange. I wonder how long it will be before he shows up again.

You're right! Only like there's a whole lot more of them, they're wearing stilettos and moving very fast.

i trust sayeed's super arab sense about her. he was right about ben when he was posing as "henry gale", when everyone else thought the guy was legit.
even though juliette is ostracized from the rest of the others (and remember a couple of episodes back, they revealed that she had only been on the island for 3 years), it still wouldn't make sense for them to leave her behind, especially since they generally tend to be so possessive of people. i'm thinking she's still in with the others and she's doing some recon/backstabbing work for them.

I agree; after seeing in past episodes how deviously Ben/the Others think, it only makes sense that Jules was deliberately left behind as their mole. Which means Sayid is going to end up having to torture her, which will really piss Jack off. I say let Sayid have at it & get it over & done with. If they end up losing Jack who ends up following Juliette back to where ever the Others are now hiding, then so be it. And you'd better damn well believe she knows exactly where they went!

i seriously doubt that sayid will torture her... think of all the regret he has had in the past about it... and especially since she is a woman, and how badly he felt a few episodes ago, for torturing that woman during the war (if he really did do it ??? )
he will probably play mindgames with her ... i'm thinking sneak up on her at night... try to get her alone, etc
i also had forgotten how short of a time they had been on the island (only 3 months) and i would just like to say right now... i think pretty soon, Sun will start to show signs of pregnancy ...
and then sometime near the end of the series, she will have a 1/2 black baby

Both this show's plot twists and Dia's intense reactions to them are making this a more interesting season indeed. Locke remains one of the more fascinating characters on the show. I could do with more Sayid as well, though if he were a bit less of a ninja I'd enjoy it more.

What can I say? Lost has become a great stress reliever for me. (Well, speculating about it in ComChat has at least. :cheeky: )

No, no! Keep the ninja thing; it's very appealing imo. ;)

his ninjality is what makes him an interesting character.
