Nothing can make it past his curb feelers.
And nothing could stop Lennie Briscoe, either...

Is the chance that the new off handed cast members might be others, and it still doesn't explain what happened to the other people from the northern plane crash site that the others took, what happened to them. And whats that thing they are building on the second island, they are clearing the land for something. It was clear from the first episode of season 3 that the others main camp was in a dormant volcanic crater in the middle of the main island. If the animal experimenation area is on the smaller island, the only way the polar bears could have got to the main island is if they swam, so there are no sharks in the water between the two islands. And what is the smoke monster protecting, and does it have anything to do with the others, or is it something placed there before the dharma institute ever got to the island.

And how the hell could the survivors NOT have seen the Others' island??!!! I mean wtf!!
Unless ..... there was some sort of cataclysm that sank the connecting piece of land? I mean, come on! The writers just threw that separate little island at us out of the blue! Or did I miss something - again?
*Where is that damn map when you need it!??*

Kuzzy: I don't remember ever seeing what Radzinski looked like. Did I miss something?
No. I just have a feeling it'll be him because of the whole wtfdesmond situation.

Remember how large the island is. When the Talies walked from The Arrow to the middle section survivor's camp, it took days. At the beginning of this season, when we're shown the partial overview of the island, we can see that the distance between those two camps, compared to the overall size of the island, is pretty small. If the Hydra Island is located on the other side of the island, it's not that big a stretch to say the survivors never would have noticed it. Especially since it really isn't that big (twice the size of Alcatraz, compared to the main island, is pretty damn small). Plus, it makes sense considering the boat the Others had.
As for the problem of how the polar bears got onto the main island, correct me if I'm wrong here, but polar bears are fairly good swimmers.

Yeah, but didn't Radzinski blow his head off? We saw the remnants on the ceiling.

Pretty soon he's going to be the Agent Smith of TV, playing every part in every show that exists.
I must say, I'd be about happy with that - the guy is a tremendous actor.

Is no one else dissappointed at the loss of Ann Lucia and that other woman (Hurley's chick) because a. they put them in/built them up with flashbacks in such a way as to make us think there were greater plans for them and b. they are out of the show because of the whole drink-driving thing. Or so I reckon. That must bork alot of what was planned by the writers.

They are not out of the show because of "that whole drunk-driving thing"
Every interview and discussion with the writers and cast (including Michelle Rodriguez) makes it absolutely clear that the characters were not intended to last any longer than they did. In fact, part of the reason Rodriguez decided to take the offered role of Ana Lucia was precisely because it was only going to be a one-season thing. She didn't want to make a long commitment or something. Because God knows she's got such a hectic career going on, and being lumbered with one of the top-drawing prime-time television shows at the moment really would have cramped her style. What with Uwe Boll still out there plotting some abysmal BloodRayne sequel or something similarly ill-advised.
Anyway, Ana Lucia is supposedly going to be in Wednesday's episode. Hopefully in a flashback and not as a ghost.
As far as Libby goes, everything I've read indicates that she will still be playing a large role in flashbacks -- presumably Hurley's, since she was in the asylum with him and Dave -- but I think flashbacks is all it will be.
