take the steps to the very top (the steps on the outside of the palace, facing the temple) and open the dorr (lvl 100, trapped, come with spells or picks) and hes inside. If u break in, he wont talk to u, and i wasnt able to kill him, altho i did a little over 2000 dmg before i gave up. what i suggest, is quiksaving, going inside, and reading all his papers, because they explain so much about the game, that it is staggering, then i would quikload, because u might need him for later in the game, and u wouldnt want him pissed off.

Anyway, about Lord Vivec:[SPOILER]He's a mob for the endgame, at a certain point in the game you'll be summoned to Lord Vivec(voluntarily) and he'll... do stuff, you'll never fight him in the game unless you do it, and he's flagged as neccesary(As in, you get to persist in the doomed world you've created)[/SPOILER]

I've killed Lord Vivec, he has 10k hp btw...

In fact, I spawned 14 of them using the editor, and I killed them all at once(as in I fought them all at once, the actual battle took roughly 10 minutes)

He drops a crappy shoulder piece... dwemer quality I think.
