Hello all,
being on the verge of completing the game, I wanted to try and see the couple of quests I missed. I read the complete solution for the Werechicken quest on another thread, but I can't find the book starting it. I did find the book near Oliver's chest, and believe it or not, when I saw a chicken in the middle of the crypt level, I thought it could just be that loony Inut fella (killed him to check, found out to my surprise I was correct, then reloaded :)
The quest doesn't start with the book though, and I haven't found the recipe for the potion anywhere - except on this forum, eheh. Anybody remembers where to look?
And about Oliver, the fifth hint says (translated from Italian): Hint no.4: (...#4, southeast corner...)
I tried to figure out a meaning, but failed. I thought the following:
- it is actually hint no.5, so I should look in the same room as hint no.4, in the SE corner
- the easiest one: try digging the SE corner of the bottom right room in the fourth level
- try digging the SE corner of ANY room in the fourth level, but it didn't make any sense
- the SE corner of troll mine no.4, the one marked with XXXX, no luck.
I've run out of ideas. No big deal, ok, it's not crucial, but I'm more curious than anything else.
And finally, I've tried that scary megamegamega aam vitae tera thingy. Whoo! Can anybody kill the golden girl in a loyal fight? I either kill her standing on top of the laddered rock in the level of the sisters, or summon her in the middle of the lava lake and try to f'ball her when her health is almost gone. But it's kinda cheesy to me.
And where did you find out about the spell? I would've never thought of it myself!
Thanks in advance,
SpellCaster
P.S. If you could just hand out some subtle hints, rather than explaining the whole process, I'd be even more grateful ;)

For the treasure hunt... look through ALL of the hints (including hint #3, which was written on the floor in the goblin prison, so you won't have it in your inventory)...
Pay special attention to the stuff in parenthesis... it's actually a bit annoying to dig for the thing once you find the right place, so you'll have to dig around a quite a bit.
As for the chicken thing... that puzzled me too. I suspect I need to actually FIND the book that explains how to make the chicken-cure potion, as right now I can't actually make the potion (I get the "not now" message, even if I kill everyone in the tavern). Anyone know where that book is (and don't tell me about Inut's diary, that has nothing about any potion).
Eater.

You don't need books to complete Inut's quest. Just make the potion and use it on Inut.
Here is the recipe:
a leek
a carrot
a dragon egg
a bottle of water
After using the first three ingredients, use the bottle of water on the cauldron. It should be renamed to a "strange potion".
And you don't have to kill anyone in the tavern. Casting Telekinesis allows you to use the cauldron from a distance.

Just curious, do you have to kill the dragon to obtain more than one egg?

Yes, I believe so. I always kill the dragon because my game is bugged and I can't speak to it.
