I believe it was mostly set in an ancient temple or had a small lead-in from a jungle or boat section.
Maybe
3 Distinct Adventures, mission #2
Lost Crusade
Whispers In The Desert

What was the name of the mission that started with a sewer section and went to normal mission, but an optional bit was a locked door in the sewerworks that featured an optional horror section with flickering lights and an invisible monster

Hi! Could you please help me find a specific mission? I remember it as if the player arrived as a novice, with a boat, and then and at the very beginning of the map there was a steep slope to go up. I don't remember much more than that because I skipped it for some reason at the time. I would like to play it now. Any idea which mission this is? thanks in advance!

Could be Tales from the Cleft: Ladytaker (T2): you still play as Garrett I think but novices feature strongly in the plot (one of my favourite missions!). Or possibly Lone Rock Outpost (T1) just because of boat and initial ascent - no real novice link though.

Hey Guys,
I am looking for a mission that I just remember very little about but haven't found yet.
The mission was set in either a castle or a mansion with very dark textured walls, almost black or black stone. I remember there being fairly wide hallways one after the other and no enemies around anywhere though the atmosphere (to me) was very tense because it wasn't clear if and when someone would show up.
I don't think it was a horror mission per se but as I mentioned, the atmosphere was still very on edge. I can't remember anything about the rooms that will surely have gone off left and right from these corridors and hallways. They might have been there and been moody and dark as the hallways or might have been locked. I haven't played far into the mission so I hope these few details are enough for someone to recognise what I'm talking about. I'll gladly check out any suggestions.
Since I'm trying to play every FM ever but chronologically (not with the purpose to find the above mentioned FM but just to have played them all at least once) I can safely say it's not an FM that's from 2007 or older, I've played all those and haven't found it yet. And it's definitely a T2 FM since I have played every T1 mission.
I know that I will eventually find the FM but I would like to play it soon and not whenever it will show up in my chronological order.

Do you remember the visual quality? Like was it more like the original thief games or high-quality like for example beltzer's missions?

Definitely high quality custom textures. So the dark stone or marble that I mentioned wasn't an original texture. It was also well designed and not someone's first mission as far as I can remember

Aekoric: I've been putting off a mission for a long time, it's too scary for me. Unfortunately it's a horror mission. But in that one, the house has dark walls and I don't remember any specific enemy. Rose Cottage by name, worth a look.
I found a thread dedicated to (

Nosferatu maybe?
Abandoned castle?

Thank you! Although none of these are what I'm looking for, I think I'll replay the ones you mentioned.
What I'm looking for is like putting on a disguise as well, but I'm not sure about that (not the CoSaS series)
