They were not modified to look like Tree Beasts, but looked more akin to their System Shock 2 counterparts. I think it was a fairly old T1 mission. I remember the final area with the modified Rumblers being somewhat reminiscent of the Maw of Chaos.

Looking for a T2 FM from the early 2000's Pretty sure it was a mansion that belonged to a Lady or a Lord or both with a great story i think someone gets murdered or a lady is missing.
i vaguely remember it having a Thieve in the mansion and he pops up and you have to chase him or follow him in the mansion. The mansion had secret passages with peep holes looking into some rooms. That's all i can remember

It is not that one either. I am almost sure it was a lesser known T1/TG mission. I remember being surprised by its quality and that I had never heard about it before.

Is it perhaps "Embracing the enemy"? Though there´s another mission that your description fits better, but I can´t for my life remember it´s name either.

It could be Embracing the enemy the mission description sounds like it i will play it and hopefully its the one I'll get back to you on it

I think you are right. [url=https://darkfate.org/view/details/files/fan-missions/thief1/sepulchre_sinistral/screenshots#pp[2]/19/]dump019.jpg on Dark Fate looks like the area I remember. :thumb: I could have sworn it was from a less well-known mission, but my memory might be incorrect.
