Sorry for the SUPER late response, but... you're right, thanks a LOT!
I know what I'm gonna replay now :>

I hope I'm not annoying anyone by asking again, but maybe people have seen it with a lot of recent replays.
I'm looking for a horror mission where it feels like they used a OM as a base, but made to be horror. I can't recall which OM - I think it's a mansion with a dumbwaiter. A memorable part is you get to a halfway point where you can get outside and you're happy to almost feel like you can leave but it's just a incline up that goes nowhere. There is a werewolf AI that can kill you fast so you might get the loot out there like a cup then go back in. The area is inclined to a large degree almost like bleachers or Vietnam rice paddies. In fact I think something like perpendicular paths. And a well? Then yeah you get to the end of the mansion and there is some outside area again and a long pool.

did baeuchlein get it right? if not, maybe it's a dire return?

Oh okay for how close that looks I will check asap when I'm back home from a work trip.

This should be easy - I'm looking for the mission/campaign that has custom monsters like big trolls and takes place in mountain caves? I abandoned it early but I remember it now and then and want to try again.

Your description sounds a lot like you're thinking of (
https://darkfate.org/view/details/files/fan-missions/thief2/journey_into_the_underdark/screenshots) A Journey into the Underdark.
Shamelessly copied from (
https://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=148090#t2j) fortuni's "Brief Summaries of all the missions. T1/TG/T2/T3/TDM" thread:
Quote:
A Dungeons & Dragons adventure style FM from Intruder in which you choose your character (warrior, archer or mage) and fight an array of custom enemies (ogres, giants, goblins, trolls & spiders) as you make your way through Glitterstone mine. It's not easy, especially when playing as a mage (who uses spells as weapons) but it's done brilliantly, looks fantastic and has replay stamped all over it.

Citadel of Wrath-Amon, comes to mind but I never started myself. This was a description in my "quote to play" doc.
Second is one you start outside the go down into caves with same creatures. Believe there's a giant over, the whole thing feels like Dungeons and Dragons as well. That one I'll have to wait till I get back from work travel to check what it'scalled. Edit: intruder got it.

Oh shoot that's not it, but was so close. I think the one I'm thinking is undead only vs, like, trickster stuff. But no problem, this helped me confirm it is this mansion, I just have to find a list of FMs that used it as a base.
