Might be Sepulchre of the Sinistral.
I thought that too, but you are never outside in the mission. You start there and go down. You also come across sleeping quarters, a priest's quarter, I even think a area with wine barrels and all. I will run across it again eventually.

A mission where the enemies were skeletons and the environment was like an underground temple or something. Lots of sandstone-like materials.
I remember there being a maze part, where it was basically a grid of rooms and you had to walk through in the correct order of rooms.
I believe the player's sword model was also replaced by a spiky mace. Might have had a crossbow weapon too(?)
That's really all I can remember, it must have been more than 10 years since I played it.
It could be Thief 1 or 2, not sure. Any ideas?
Maybe "Dance with the Dead" by Yandros? - (

I have not played fm's for many years now.
I remember there was a city mission, with "regular" building assets.
There was a scantily clothed women inside a window on the 2nd floor.
The room was not accessible to players, but you could look into it from outside.
Cant remember if you could rope arrow up to it, or if you had to stack crates.
This memory stuck with me through many many years'.
What an absolute fantastic way to reward players for doing some extra exploration.

I posted this in the wrong thread by mistake so reposting it here
I remember a deep pit with and uneven possibly sandy floor and a white clothed black haired undead lady is patrolling. You have to to climb to the top of this pit and the wall are lined with natural structures as well as ruined buildings. Lighting is bluish with a bit of torchlight here and there. At the top its more blue lit ruins with sarcophagi and if Im not mistaken black wispy Haunt variants.
For some reason Im thinking Seven Sisters or Dracula but I have my doubts. If I remember correctly the undead lady has the same model as the antagonist or is the antagonist or something maybe. I do think it was a campaign mission
Thanks in advance

For "Seven Sisters", check the following set of screenshots: (
https://darkfate-org.translate.goog/view/details/files/fan-missions/thief2/seven_sisters/screenshots?_x_tr_sl=ru&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en)
"dump040.jpg" shows the room where the female antagonist patrols in a room, but it is not exactly as you describe it. No sarcophagi around, no Haunt-like beings, and the female has black hair as well as black clothing. The walls are artificial, but very old and partially covered with plants. It may help to climb on top of the circular structure, but it is not required, I think. However, you have to climb onto a ledge nearby with the help of a rope arrow if you want to get rid off the female there. This is the only room of "Seven Sisters" that somehow resembles the scene you described.
There is a somewhat similar room at the end of "Rowena's Curse", a mission from the same author (Lady Rowena) who did "The Seven Sisters" later on. And there is a pit-like (but rather rectangular) room there where you have to climb down first, and maybe back up later on. There are no Haunt-like enemies in that section, I think, but some that seem to resemble minotaurs - large human-like beings with animal heads. Maybe you are mixing up these things here?
From "Dracula" (campaign), I do not remember any room/pit/structure that would fit your description. I also do not remember any other missions that have similar rooms. Do you remember anything else about that pit?

Thanks for your help. Its none of these Im afraid. It was definitely a circularish "cavern" like pit with an uneven sandy or gravel bottom with a torch or two stuck in with the female undead patrolling. Lighting was blue with a bit of yellow and green here and there and some manmade ruins in the walls that you had to traverse to get up and the sarcophagi and haunts were at the top

Ah, got it! It's almost certainly "Death's Turbid Veil".
Marianne, a woman turned into a vampire, fits your description: Black hair, white gown, pale face. I am not sure if she is/was the female undead patrolling, but there is a pit (or rather, the bottom of a large cavern room) where you arrive during your travels, and my notes mention female undead in the area. Lighting is mainly blue, especially higher up in the pit. The ground indeed is made of sand-like, yet rather white or light grey, material. The bottom of this pit is indeed uneven.
You climb up in this pit by using the damaged structures on the walls - the stones of the walls, the holes, the potruding wooden parts, etc.. You pass by one or two coffins, then you enter a graveyard-like structure with sarcophagi as well as partially transparent undead, rattling with chains like Haunts, but clad in something that resembles thief-like outfits rather than a Haunt's red remains of the Hammerite uniforms.
The main antagonist, however, is a Lord who became a vampire, not Marianne. She is only one of the Lord's victims. I guess that explains why you're thinking of "Dracula". The connection to "Seven Sisters" probably stems from Marianne and other female undead, who might look a little bit like some undead or witches of "Seven Sisters".

YES !! It was indeed Deaths Turbid Veil. Thanks a lot ! I confirmed by checking if Fen had played it and sure enough he had done so. I got mixed up with the body of Marianne you are carrying and the regular undead woman patrolling and the enemies up top were ghostly thief model reskins not ghostly black haunts. Awesome
