Looking for standup recommendations. - by ercles

Over the last year or so I've been on a bit of a standup acts, and I'm starting to get to the point where I've run out of things to listen to. My tastes generally drift towards the social commentary side of comedy, Bill Hicks being my absolute favourite. I've also listened to a shitload of George Carlin, Lenny Bruce, and Richard Pryor. Although I enjoy a lot of other standup which is a little more conventional in its material (ie racism/sexism), I don't find comedians like Chappelle as rewarding with repeat listens.
I'm sure plenty of you guys know a lot more about this shit than I do, which is why I'd really appreciate some pointers in the right direction.
EDIT: Forgot to mention I've also got a lot of David Cross as well, he was the first suggestion I got when I mentioned Bill Hicks

Apart from those you've mentioned:
For recorded live shows, I love Bill Bailey and dig Chris Rock.
For audio I don't mind David Cross.

Patton Oswalt. I've listened to his album Werewolves and Lollipops a lot. Just the way he says things and the phrases he uses is fun to listen to.

Mitch Hedberg - Strategic Grill Locations is absurdly hilarious.

Recently went to see Stewart Lee live (him of Jerry Springer the Opera), and it's a very particular style, he often calls attention to his craft and that of others.

Mitch Hedberg. Aja hit it on the head. This guy was taken way too early in life, but the legacy he left behind is awesome. I've got most of his stuff on my iPod.
Here's a sample of Hedberg.
