Did anyone ever make any sort of analysis on those games? Themes, concepts, all that stuff? I am kinda interested in reading anything that provides me better knowledge of that universe.

Thief trilogy? Sorry, I have no idea what you're talking about.

One could argue that the themes for the first two games are the dichotomy of chaos and order, with the Pegans representing chaos and the Hammerites/Mechanists representing order, with Garrett and the Keepers (Until Thief 3 that is), being the one who strikes the balance between the two. Perhaps then the theme of 3 could be disorder or discord, since much of the plot revolves around corruption within the Keepers, despite their efforts to maintain their balance, and Garrett being the only one who has no discord, despite his profession.
That could be a quick one paragraph analogy of the trilogy, I suppose. Or maybe I'm just talking out my ass like someone who posts those overly long theory videos :laff:

What's the issue here? I want to see someone analyzing Thief: TDP, Thief: TMA and Thief: DS as one thing, hence the trilogy.

I hope you are joking, but if you aren't, THIEF is a standalone thing that eradicated everything that made Thief... well, Thief. It doesn't share a lot of things that I am interested in, so there is no need to mention it at all.
If I wanted a better explanation on Hammerites and Pagans and themes behind them, I won't take a look at a game that doesn't have them at all, right?
