Here's my character:
Redguard
Strength
Agility
Major: Long Blade, Illusion, Security, Heavy Armor, Sneak
Minor: Light Armor, Restoration, Speech, Short Blade, Acrobatics
I may change this around and specialize in alteration and remove either light armor or short blade. But I'm looking for good ways to up my security level. Any hints?

To train security, you can buy a lock spell from one of the Mage's Guilds. Then get a custom lock spell that only does one point. Buy some lock picks and some potions of restore magic, find a lockable item and go at it. You'll improve both alteration and security at the same time.
