I´ve heard Richie Hawtin is one of the best techno house artists, does he have light and melodic productions like Sven Vath? or are they noisy? I don´t enjoy Sven Vath in the mix, the musics are too noisy, a lot of beats and almost no melody at all, i prefer Sven Vath´s artist albums, he has very good Productions unlike the compilations he does for Coocon. Sven Vath is a good making his own productions, but i don´t like him as a Dj.
Yeah you'll like Hawtin - his stuff (especially as Plastikman) isn't really crazy noisy stuff. Also, the stuff you are describing is by and large pure techno, not house or tech house. Just a tip for when you are searching for more. Sven Vath's mixes are nasty - better to get the records and mix yourself :) He was an insane trance-head in the nineties who released ridiculous concept albums and worked the summer circuit in Ibiza. Somehow, he occasionally manages to make decent records in spite of these shortcomings
If you like light and melodic, check out Ricardo Villalobos - here's a remix of a mid-2000s classic: (

You might also like Stewart Walker - this is one of his early tracks, made before he left four to the floor behind: (

Carl Craig is probably one of the most popular if you like the Detroit sound - (
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YEe9uO80hDA) (best bit is in the second half) - he has a mix called 'The Workout,' which is probably the greatest techno compilation you'll ever hear
HOWEVER I personally retreated from techno about five years ago and the only thing I still listen to is Surgeon. I think he is a real artist and hasn't dated for me in the least. Ultra, ultra minimal techno. I've travelled across time zones on numerous occasions just to see this guy perform. I think he is the only person to build on what Jeff Mills did for techno in the nineties
La Real: (

and
First: (

Many thanks for your suggestions Vernon, I´m going to check out those artists, i already knew Carl Craig, though from Techno Detroit i prefer Scan X, he´s my favourite Artist, i also like Laurent Garnier and Jeff mills, what i like on these artists its their dark musics, Jeff mills is however an Artists of highs and lows, he has very good productions, but at the same time he has terrible productions. I really like Sven Vath albums, specially "Fusion", the three last one are the best. but in the mix its crappy.

Deep house is like chilled-out house, progressive house is like chilled-out trance. I wouldn't get too hung up on subgenres, though.

Progressive House's influence goes far beyond Jazz and Disco which are the main influences (that differentiate) Deep House. Deep house is usually sweet or melancholic, generally very emotional with interesting chord usage (jazz influence) and notable use of "four chords" (nelisointu, dunno about it's English counterpart).
They are definitely near each other, but prog house is just wider, for example a lot of tracks loan from dub on their bass.

I´v just listen to Plastikman Albums, he´s got some nice dark musics, but he also got psycho stuff, wich makes me belive its a result of drugs effects, i don´t hear music to take drugs, i like to hear it sober and with my heart.
Exploring now Ricardo Villalobos...
