one my crts finally blew up,so I'm looking for a quick replacement,but there is ton of similarly priced choices,and I'm not a big expert in LCDs.quick pick from a local shop (the LCD has to be non-widescreen,and it will be used for all the average stuff-browsing,movies,a bit of gaming):

I don't think a lot of people among us could give you advice on non-widescreen LCDs these days. I'd suggest you roll with the widescreen trend and check out one of the threads we've had here on the topic, like (http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=128880&daysprune=-1) this one.

it's not for me,but for an older family member,and they get confused by such things as widescreen,or,god forbid,multiple displays..basically,all I need to know is-should I just buy the cheapest thing (123E philips-19s1sb) 'cause they are all cr@p anyway,or should I add 50E to get something "better" (fujitsu-b19-6-eco)?
