I can't see a GBM spawn emerging from Starry without some serious structural damage.

Some more congratulations from me :)
Incidentally, my wife had a second child in January, and he's at the crawling-almost-standing stage. Adds a bit more excitement as one's little darling tries to put anything in his/her mouth. You have that to look forward to of course.
For now I hope the trauma of the caesarian heals up quickly, you'll need your energy...

Cute baby! Also, nice beard. :D

Congrats! The baby is, of course, absolutely beautifull. Good luck over the next few weeks, and remember it will all get easier very soon. :)
And your hubby is doing you a great favor with that beard ... it will give the baby somebody else's hair to pull on.

You may not have felt the C section at the time but I know you feel it now. Well I remember helping my wife hobble about. I don't know how you women do it but I'm damned glad you do. I'm sure there were times you wish it had been a kitten. There is no way to explain how crazy wonderful precious life will be now. You'll see. Huzzah and congrats!
I must say I had momentary vision of the Jaws of Life being used for a GBM offspring.

Probably because they don't have much choice in the matter. It would be like saying how I manage to cope with the quite painful attacks that accompany Crohn's disease.
