Check out The Cure's Pornography album. Quite melancholy and very repetitive/drony. I guess if you're looking for that kind of thing it should be great.

Jesu (ex-Godflesh Justin Broadrick) might be right up your alley. 6-10 mins of drone per track. Conqueror is their best album imo.

but Carte-de-Viste is just b-sides. Refinement of the Decline is the solid choice after Tired Sounds, then Avec Laudenum.

Okay I'll shout this one- The Sheltering Sky is a fuckin tune; classical ambient; silly lead guitar but definitely one of the best ambient tunes ever wrote.
