Camden works for me. I was there recently so I actually know how the fuck I get there, thankfully (and it's now how the dumb, dumb journey planner says you're supposed to!).
Mind you, I was there this past Saturday and it was SWAMPED. Actually moving down a sidewalk took forever - as a group we might be unable to actually get anywhere.
Edit: on the other hand, they have DONUTS

Oh, and apropos nothing, is anyone else here attending the Eurogamer Expo in London? I'll be there this Sunday.

Camden is ok with me, although it's been done to death. But hey. It's easy to get to. Can't think of much else that isn't just lolz central london - Notting Hill/Portobello Rd is a nice area with decent pubs/cafes etc? 7th should be fine though.

Covent garden has the glasshouse stores and the one who's name I've forgotten (good, cheap sam smith's pubs - sam smith brewery does suprisingly decent lager for a nottingham-based brewer). It also has that hilarious gothout the Intrepid Fox, if you fancy a bit of cobweb. There's a massive wetherspoons, and theres... uh, culture? I think? Somewhere nearby?

Covent Garden is a lovely place in the evenings in Winter, with all the lights and stuff, it's straight out of a postcard. We had (part of) the mini-meet there with Jay and N'Al last year and it was pretty cool :thumb:
not that I really care since I'm not going this time but hey :p

I can't remember what it's called, though, does anyone recognise this:
Thanks to the power of google street view it appears to be (

Yeah, that's the one, cheers! It really looks like a nice pub, but it unsurprisingly gathers more crowds than a stripper at a DnD convention.

I'll admit to having no idea where Covent Garden is, but I'm up for it.
