Good point on most folks having seen the cultural centers. Maybe someone could bring a BOARD GAME to a pub and then it would be EXTRA AWESOME.
Totally willing to do this on the seventh, assuming we can get this thing organized by then (these topics move slowly, sometimes). Any favorite pubs? Easily accessible and reasonably priced being big pluses.
(incidentally, I almost lost my ID the other day - and it's a damn good thing I didn't, because despite being almost 22 people always assume I'm under 18)

If that was sarcasm then GOD DAMN YOU SIR because we had fun that time.

Aerothorn, if you can grow a goatee or something it could help with the age thing. If you can't, you're roleplaying the group's elf chick priest in the pub. And after.

:(
I did try the goatee route for a bit, actually, but it really didn't work for me.
I was totally serious about the idea of board gaming - there's actually a group in London that meets weekly at a pub (The Red Herring) for just that purpose. Dunno how other people would feel about that, though, and I myself have no games to bring as they are stuck in Massachusetts. Mind you, I'm perfectly fine with idle pub chatting too.

Idle pub chatting is what we do best!
I don't know what I'm up to on the 7th, but if I am around then I'll be there.

How about we hit Camden for this man-date? Good pubs and the market aint half bad for some hilarity. Plus its a 15min walk from my flat so nice and easy!
Are we settled on the 7th? Who is in for this.
