Okay, so been some discussion of this in the past month, figured I'd give a whirl at organizing the damn thing. I'm thinking sometime in November would be good.
What do we want to do? Group discount at Legoland? Movie + Pub? Play "real Thief" in the Tube station?

I'd pay money to see that. ;)
Actually, I'd pay money to see a group of adults goofing off in Legoland, too.

What, you're telling me that adults don't typically go to Legoland? That Legos are FOR KIDS?
what kind of horrible country is this

Don't fancy Legoland, reckon we should keep it central, cheap(ish) and relatively lazy. At the very least, fairly central. But that's just my opinion, and I speak as someone with a zones 1-2 travelcard.
There's always free galleries and museums to bum around in, parks, and a decent pub or two; frankly I just enjoy roaming the city so I'm easy. But I can't really be arsed getting to Windsor.

Movie + Pub?
Pub + Pub?
Careful when you type those two words together, it bears the risk of confusing some and starting a discussion on what Thief is
"really" about.

Frankly, I'm more keen on doing "something" (gallery, museum, park, etc.) then nothing-but-pubs, though if that is what folks want then I'm up for it. I know some of the museums (like the British Science Museum) have "late nights" once a month.

You folks want, we can go to the natural history museum and I can tell you some boring crap about dinosaurs for a bit (although the NHM's dinosaur selection is pretty fucking balls, to be honest. They do have a full-on glyptodont, though, and they are amazing). I have a mate who works at the science museum as well, I could see if he know's any exciting things going on. Then we could go the pub. Thats important.

I say if you think you're too old to play with Legos, then you've got some severely screwed up priority issues that have to be dealt with post haste. Seriously. If I had the time and money to fly out to London for this new TTLG meet, I would flat out
demand we go to Legoland.
I'm talking like as soon as I take my first step off the plane here. No delay. Just Legos.

The only time I'm not in London is the weekend 12th - 15th November as I'm galavanting around Luxembourg then.
So how about Sat Nov 7th?
I'm sure a group of young, hip and swinging Londoners can find something suitable to do in the city
Always up for a spot of culture along with my patented Theory Of Everything - for every hour in a museum = 2 hours in the pub.

I don't mind either way, it's just that I imagine most people in the London area would've seen the bulk of the cultural points.

As far as the dinosaur exhibit goes, is it doable? I mean, was there with a friend about two months ago, but it was so cram cattle-herding packed we could barely keep together, and it was just the two of us. Nevermind stuff like "Oh, look, that's a Triceratops kinda looking dead thingie".
Agreed on the pub point.
