Do it Starr. Looks like good practice for Tough Guy.

my gym is actually hosting it, apparently, and I've already got one coworker on board, so totally doing it

I can't see what the obstacles are on their website, I assume its a bit like ToughGuy?
Looks like fun!
On the running training side of things, what's the opinion of the TTLGers on midfoot/frontfoot vs heel strike for running? I used to always run with a heel strike, but got quite a few injuries. This year I've been running with a frontfoot strike since last May and am now considerably faster than before as well as avoiding any injuries for a year (touch wood.)
The only downside has been incredibly tight calves which I need to stretch quite a lot, but that's better than knee injuries!

I'm doing a half marathon in May. It kinda feels like wussing out, like, if you're going to commit to a long ass run and all, just throw all your cards on the table, suck it up and do the full. But christ, I've never run more than 7 miles continuously, I can't imagine running 26. something. :wot:
