If I bet someone to run in the marathon, a fucking 42 kilometre run, distance most people would have trouble to fucking cover on a bike, I would honestly not expect him to start a rigorous training regime to actually get in shape to do it. It would be more of him running one-two klicks and then collapsing from the exhaustion, having a good laugh then hitting the nearest bar.
Maybe you people do shit differently in UK, though when I was there I can't say I remember people being particularily dragonslayish.

Ah fucklesticks; as mentioned previously theres a bloody ballot to get into the marathon; which I've missed.
Thats a bit stupid. However that ToughGuy thing looks interesting...let me read a bit more about it before deciding...
