Don't read this if you haven't been to Hong Kong.
Something about the following just cracked me up. It totally caught me by surprise. Maybe I hadn't been paying attention.
JC finds agent Navarre. She says the usual thing about how it's going to be a pleasure to terminate him or something like that and and then JC calls her "Flatlander". The camera zooms in on her emotionless face as she says, "How did you know?" in a totally flat tone and then the next second, BOOM! Splat, Splut. She explodes into greasy gibs. Of course Denton doesn't register any surprise or amusement at this.
That just cracked me up -
maybe because I'd expected some epic battle or something like there usually is with a boss. I'd been trying to figure out how I'd kill her and I expected to get wasted a few dozen times, but all I had to do was say "Flatlander"
I gotta say this game is another original, like Thief. I'm having trouble putting it down.

Well, you actually found the killphrase out yourself. Probably by hacking some computers you shouldn't have at Unatco. Obviously didn't pay attention to any of it though :)

I think some of it was on Manderley's computer, but yes, I generally hack into every computer I come across and read people's mail.

The killphrase is actually "flatlander woman" and comes in two parts. One is on her computer and the other is on Manderley's computer. You need to get both parts to use it.

I think it's a nice demonstration of how the game can be played in different ways, and yes, it's kinda weird how sudden it is :)
