Paedophilia means an interest in prepubescent children. At 13 years the girl was probably not prepubescent. Just saying.

Already covered that on page 1:P

Just saying what? That you're a gigantic asshole?
Oh, oh I see. Carry on.

Furthermore, the victim was not passed out nor inexperienced (and had sex with other people of similar age differences previously). While legally a minor cannot give consent - and therefore it was legally rape regardless of the circumstances - there's still a difference between having sex with the minor with or without their permission. They are not an automaton: their judgement, however impaired people may consider it, counts for somethin
He plied a vulnerable young girl with drink and drugs, then fucked her in two holes against her protests. If anything, the fact that she had been similarly abused by adults before makes his behaviour even more despicable.

I'm not 100% sure this is some Swiss quid pro quo. To their great credit, they caught one of the DGSE (French Secret Service) Rainbow Warrior bombers years after the event and were going to extradite him here, if our government hadn't balked at the prospects of getting our EU exports blocked by the government- whose fields are so liberally fertilised by our dead countrymen- which ordered the only terrorist attack in our history. And the French weren't very happy with the Swiss then, either. Personally I would have hanged Mafart, Prieur and that other bloke in front of the French Embassy and left them for the crows (which we don't have any of in New Zealand) and exhumed every NZ soldier buried in France and walked them to the airport and, and :mad::mad::mad::mad:1

Jesus fuck I wish this tardtastic saying had a Godwin equivalent associated with it. Lazy, trite, self indulgent and cheap; total auto fail from those who write letters signed "outraeged!!!111!! of [cityname]" to Daily Mail equivalents everywhere.
1Note: Moral outraeg!!!111!! over something decades old.

Fuck you. It just means if you commit a crime don't cry when you have to serve your sentence. What crawled up your ass, ass?
Aerothorn on 28/9/2009 at 23:59
Why so vindictive on this subject, SE?

Can we all get on the same page:
He plead guilty to a lesser charge. This does not make you guilty of the larger one by default because it involved a minor.
Whatever he has done hasn't seen the inside of a trial, one way or the other.
He may actually have done his time according to the original deal.
He fled when it was changed, so it is said.
If you think all controversy disappears at the word "guilty" you're ignoring a lot of stuff.

It wasn't aimed
specifically at you, which is why I stripped the attribution. But yeah, Moral Outraeg!!!!111!!:mad::mad: in pretty much all its forms gives me an almost uncontrollable urge to bash the front of my skull in with a hammer.
Perhaps more importantly in this case, he had supposedly
already done his time (making the 'do the crime..' inappropriate even in a literal sense- whether you actually agree with that time being enough or not, and I wouldn't have at the time, personally). And he was only going to do more because the judge was arbitrarily going to alter the agreement- which probably constitutes grounds for refusing an extradition now, in any case.

She definitely saw Polanski's award winning Pianist.

The testimony she provides on the smoking gun states absolutely nothing about previous sexual/drug/alcohol experiences being against her will. That said, it's not like it changes what Polanski did though I'd question the veracity of her testimony based on character... 30 years ago.
