sup monkeysee, been a while. u got urself a gf?
no but im workin on it
and holy SCHLAMOLY does that flash load slow maybe the 10th dimension is lag lol
edit: what the hell this is like the many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics inexplicably mapped onto the 10-dimensional framework of String Theory. that doesn't make any damn sense, string theory proposes 10 spatial dimensions whats all this parallel timeline shit what the fuck WTF

I just realised....

I've missed Monkeysee's awesome geekouts.
COME ON, MAN! BREAK IT DOWN FOR US!

I thought the reason for the number of dimensions was that strings vibrating in each different dimension produce a certain kind of sub-atomic particle.
My issue with the website is that it claims that its ten total dimensions are the unavoidable result of math and infinities and whatnot, but it includes time as the fourth dimension (out of ten), while outside the animations states that time is the ELEVENTH dimension alongside the ten physical dimensions.

Almost all I know is from the Elegant Universe doc but from what it seems, String theory allowed for 6 dimensions to be all curled up and they would act on the strings who in turns make up all the particles, but in M theory the additional dimensions are actual dimensions on this membrane, parallel to ours. It's left unclear how many of these parallel dimensions there would be but I presume 6-7. They would also act up somehow on our strings. You know how our universe has all these mathematical constants? Well in a different dimension it would probably be different mathematical constants which are determined from the strings and they would thus have different laws of physics.

/me adds a dimension
Oh my god, what have I done?
How will Donnie survive and get the girl whilst still having time to party to joy diviosn?
Renegen on 6/7/2006 at 02:14
By calling his alter-ego to help of course.
trevor the sheep on 6/7/2006 at 02:30
woah THAT'S DEEP
where did his alter ego come from?
through a spacetime rip caused when Donnie didn't integrate his rates of change questions correctly?
SEPARATE THE VARIABLES DONNIE, SEPARATE THE BLOODY VARIABLES
