is deterministic, because every different possibility occurs (and hence there's no chance involved). It's basically a cop out. This is off hand, though.
It's not really a cop-out because the multiverse was never intended to be a serious stab at explaining what's Really Going On. It was one of many interpretations of QM put forth by the original discoverers of it and was more of a thought experiment, like Shroedinger's Cat.
