Watch it live when they turn it on.

9 am CEST
... Which says it's +2 GMT (don't they mean +1?), anyway 6 hours after the original time of this post ignoring the minutes ... so uh, 8 am GMT, 3 am U.S.EST, 12 am PST, 5 pm AEST, uh ... the rest of you can figure it out for yourselves.

About a half hour until the LHC goes operational.
Hope some of you are watching.
Go science. :)

I'm watching. I'm also wondering if hoping for something to go dreadfully wrong makes me a bad person. j/k

Funny how not only the live webcast page is overloaded, but even sites that just talk about the LHC going online are getting overloaded. I'm not getting a signal... Too bad not a single cable news show is covering it (that I can find).
Anyway, now the preliminary stuff is going on. The first actual injection of a beam "is scheduled for 9:30 CET", about 15 minutes.
Edit: some forums are following it ...

I had a signal for a quite while but recently lost it. I even registered for Evo earlier just in case, but I have yet to recieve my confirmation, so I can't log on.
Edit: Oh well, according to what I just read the beam is only circulating in one direction and there won't be any collisions tonight anyhow.
